Hello to the community, this is my first post and I hope I will do well in asking my question right with all the necessary info. I would welcome any suggestion especially for the transcoding issue.

Posted August 9, Hi - I recently switched to Media Browser Server and ran into the same problem. I'm not sure what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions? Luke Posted August 9, Posted August 10, Luke Posted August 10, Right now tried some of the settings in the transcoding options and set quality to Auto and Audioboost to 1.

Saw now that the video file size started growing yet still no output to TV, TV gives up after a while and quits and the file gets deleted when it was about the 1. New log attached again FYI I was able to find a working combination: container: mkv video codec: h audio codec: aac It doesn't seem to like the TS container, or the ac3 audio codec for transcoding. Posted August 11, I have the exaxt same problem FYI I was able to find a working combination: container: mkv video codec: h audio codec: aac.

Posted August 14, FuFa 3 Posted October 24, Posted October 24, Hello all, this is my first post in the forum, I used MB for quite some time with my old Samsung Smart TV model and it was working quite well mainly using as PlayTo target from the Android app. Luke Posted October 24, Well done, thanks for that info! FuFa 3 Posted October 30, Posted October 30, Hi again, I got some new information on this topic: 1.

Luke Posted October 31, Posted October 31, Well done, thanks. I'll incorporate 4 into the upcoming beta. Luke Posted May 9, Posted May 9, The latest beta incorporates more improvements for Panasonic Viera's. This took more than a little effort to figure out what the environment was doing.

My media environment: Songs populated onto a PC not a Mac that uses iTunes 50 different playlists. You can see details on these online or in the WD Community. An abbreviated example of a playlist is below:.

My devices appeared to find the device easier that way. I hope this helps people. Which issue? The original post or the last post regarding playlists. I am still having issues with incorrect display of some files, though rebuilding the database solved the video file issues. However, I have mp3 files which are showing up with the incorrect name.

I have a Spanish language series 01 through 10 where 01 shows up twice but one of those is really I have rebuilt the database three times and that file is still mislabeled. It is NOT mislabeled when you examine the file using a computer. The moderator was referring to the issue that your subject line points out.

Similar problems seem to have been had with Samsung TVs and overcome -- for example, in this DigitalSpy thread , Wakelest seems to have got something to work. There too he appears to have initially had problems with the video duration, but seems to have overcome them. Wakelest also gives more information post 9 about the fast-forwarding issues he had: apparently the Samsung is fine with AC3 audio streams, but doesn't like mp2 audio streams in TS files. But people seem to have successfully build ffmpeg for the FoxSat in the past.
