Hello, I'm new to starbound, just got off my first planet, and it seems to me that the hunting spear is the absolutely best weapon out there, it deals about 45 damage per hit, enough to oneshot or twoshot most enemies, while it takes hits from other weapons to kill them from melee range is there a reason why one would make weapons other than this?
